Unwind and relax in this calm, cosy and stylish space. Enjoy the beauty of the Scottish mountains surrounding this charming welcoming bungalow. Recently renovated, circa 170 year old Bungalow. Full of character, cosy and the ideal place to chill and relax after enjoying the beautiful outdoors. One double bedroom, bathroom with electric shower, electric heating, great sized living room and kitchen with walk in pantry cupboard. Back garden is lovely and has a seating area. Parking space right outside the front of the bungalow. Around the corner from stunning and famous Glencoe, is the friendly and pretty village of Glencoe. Surrounded by some of the most dramatic and beautiful scenery in Scotland, Ballachulish is a perfect base for exploring the amazing landscape of Glencoe. This village used to be the 'slate capital' of Scotland and the disused quarries can be still seen nearby. Today the village has an international reputation as an idyllic holiday destination which can be enjoyed at any time of year. There's a diverse range of activities available including mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, golf and skiing as well as miles of mountain and forest tracks. The village is split into two - North Ballachulish and South Ballachulish - and is situated on either side of Loch Leven, where it flows into Loch Linnhe. There is pubs and restaurants around the area with a popular restaurant just at the road end called the 'Laroch'. There are good and frequent bus links to and from Glasgow, Fort William and Oban. The bus stop is very close, a 1 minute walk down the street. There are train journeys from Fort William or Oban also.
