Between the resorts of Obergurgl and Sölden Apartment 5 Residenz Zwieselstein is perfectly set up for a fabulous skiing or summer holiday in the Tyrol. It is situated on the ground floor. The apartment has two bedrooms, one double with luxury en-suite shower room, and a twin room with its own separate luxury shower room. There is a good-sized communal ski/boot room with bootwarmers and communal washing machines. Residenz Zwieselstein is set in the picturesque village of Zwieselstein in the Ötztal valley between the famous ski resorts of Obergurgl and Sölden. The apartment is less than 200m from the ski bus stop with regular connections to neighbouring resorts. The main lift in Sölden is 5 minutes away by bus. In Summer, the peaceful village is a good starting point for beautiful walks. The Ötztal valley hosts many sporting opportunities including white water rafting, climbing, tennis and access to numerous pools including the luxury natural thermal spa: the Aqua Dome. There is an extensive supply of crockery, kitchen and dining utensils. Storage space is available for smaller items. Stairs or lift access down to the boot / ski room. There is a resident caretaker on site and details for key collection will be arranged following confirmation of the booking. About the neighbourhood Obergurgl is the highest parish in Austria at 1930m, with reliable snow and no queues. The atmosphere is really friendly and there is a definite air of luxury.24 lifts, 110km of skiing.Solden is the nearest resort, and is lively and fun. In addition to many kilometres of slopes there is as much apres ski as one can handle! With 2 glaciers, and 3 mountains over 3000m snow is guaranteed from October to May. 34 lifts, 148km of skiing.Vent is a smaller resort known for its mountaineering, ski touring, hiking and cross country, all dominated by the Wildspitze, Tyrol’s highest mountain (3774m)Within the Otztal valley is the "Aquadome" - a multi-sensory thermal spa also with a children's water area located in the village of Langenfeld, the "Stubai" waterfall the largest in the Tirol, and at the entrance to the valley "Area 47" a centre for outdoor water, climbing and adventure activities. An advantage of Sunday departures is much less transfer traffic on the roads compared to a Saturday in the Tirol. Also the ski slopes are much emptier on the Saturday which can enhance the last day of your holiday!
