Cosy Appartment in Lovely Burgundy Farmhouse
Bonjour et bienvenue au Studio du Marronnier! We've just listed our newly renovated and rustic, cosy apartment with double bed, shower room and kitchenette and are very much looking forward to welcoming our first guests this summer 2019:) Your spacious room is part of our typical Burgundy farmhouse with lovely gardens found in picturesque, rolling countryside - an ideal holiday base for a relaxing holiday and to explore pretty villages and sites: Burgundian chateaux, Vezelay and Guedelon. Built nearly 200 years ago, the farmhouse oozes character, obvious as you step into the large dining room (common area) with its impressive, pretty fireplace, cobble-tiled floor and original beams. Equipped with modern facilities and decor you would expect from a top quality holiday appartment, your cozy double bedroom includes an ensuite shower room with sink and wc as well as a kitchenette with fridge, cooker, mini oven, sink and cupboards. There is also a tv in case of cooler weather and a table for dining. Situated in this rustic and welcoming old farmhouse, your space provides an economical and perfect base for exploring the wonderful area of La Puisaye and region of Burgundy. You are welcome to enjoy our gardens for BBQs, al fresco dining and relaxing. We are keen gardeners and spend many an hour creating a wonderful garden environment for ourselves and our guests:) Parking is on site and you have access to the main dining room where you can find the information you need to explore this wonderful region. Andrew and Marielle will be at the Gite du Marronnier to host and give helpful information during your stay. Lovely walks and bike rides in surrounding countryside. Peaceful, lovely French countryside with great views. Car required. Walking itineraries and tourist information documents available at the gite.
