Farmhouse with pool Nr. Le Mont St Michel

A rural setting in Southern Normandy, situated between two working farms. Le Jardin consists of two rental properties, a larger farmhouse sleeping 6 and a smaller cottage sleeping 4. In an ideal location to visit Le Mont St Michel and easy access to the main road network bringing the Normandy beaches and Bayeux within easy reach. A view of Le Mont St Michel can be seen from the Orchard. Our farmhouse has all the creature comforts you would expect. Attractively decorated bedrooms, separate toilet and bathroom, large farmhouse dining table for 8 people, fully equipped kitchen, shared outdoor swimming pool (available July and August), free Wifi. A substantial continental breakfast can be provided on request: fresh orange juice (or home pressed apple juice in season), home baked croissants, pain au chocolate & bread, home made jams, cereals, yoghurt and a choice of tea, coffee or chocolate, will be served in the property or on the patio (weather permitting!). Served between 07.30 - 09.00. €8 per person. The Accommodation On the ground floor Lounge: 3 piece suite, wood burner, Satellite (Free2view Channels) TV, DVD player. Under stairs cupboard housing an iron and ironing board, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner, high chair and a selection of DVDs. Kitchen: Sink, gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and various utensils. Dining Room: Large farmhouse table and chairs, seating up to 8 people. On the first floor: Bedroom 1: Double bed, bed-side tables and lamps, bedroom chair, clothes-hanging cupboard and shelves. Bedroom 2: Twin bedded/double bed room, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers. The twin single beds can be zip-locked together to produce an double bed if preferred. Bathroom: Shower, sink. Separate Toilet On the second floor: Bedroom 3: Double bed, chest of drawers and clothes-hanging cupboard. Velux window. interconnecting to: Shower and toilet. The shared swimming pool is available July and August. The guests have the whole house. We live in a separate cottage on the site, so are always available and more than happy to answer any questions or to help with suggestions about places to visit. Le Mont St Michel (the second most visited site in France) is only 25 minutes away by car. A delight at any time, but enchanting at night. You could even cycle there utilising the many Velo Routes in the area. Our nearest towns, St.Hilaire du Harcouet holds the biggest Market in the area every Wednesday morning, whilst Ducey holds a tourist market every Sunday morning during July & August.
