Bus nr. 2,7,12 Just 30 km away from ski resort We offer a room+ one day woodwork workshop in which you will learn how to transform a piece of wood into a marvelous handcrafted decoration, how to plan your work, how to select a suitable wood for use in making simple projects at home such as bookcases, cupboards, Christmas decorations, candlesticks, glass mats etc. Through the process of making your own wooden product, you will learn a classic set of techniques and you will discover how to choose make and tune-up basic hand tools. With the skills you will develop in this one-day workshop, you can begin to make your own home decorations, basic furniture with a minimal palette of hand tools, or you can use it as the fundamental basis to develop a higher-level hand and design skills. This course is suitable for complete beginners (all ages) or anyone with limited woodworking experience who wishes to further develop their skills and knowledge. The vision of our team is that everyone should have the opportunity to discover their practical abilities, develop their creative talents. Even if you have never held a chisel before or can’t draw a design, the expert of carving Mitja Petje, will build confidence and correct technique in an energetic and inspiring manner, so you will take home a set of skills that will last a lifetime. This course is a fun and informal introduction to the traditional Slovenian culinary world, with techniques and ideas that will inspire you to get cooking at home. We will introduce you a diverse traditional menu ideas with lots of interesting creative variations, both, for vegetarians and meat lovers. You will learn simple and great recipes for tastiest Slovenian meals, such as, Žganci, Ričet, Štrudl, Ajdova kaša, Rezanci, Ocvirki, Jota, etc, including tips how to combine the meal with the proper vine. The course ends with a wonderful lunch that we will prepare together and a couple of glasses of local wine round off your day. The course is suitable for everyone 15 years of age and upwards.
