1 Dalebrook View, Stoney Middleton

A spacious modern apartment in the heart of the Peak District surrounded by beautiful countryside. Great for families and for groups of friends that might want a walking holiday. Two of the bedrooms can be made up as twin beds or superkingsize. The third bedroom has a double bed. There is also a cot and high chair in the apartment. Stoney Middleton has a friendly pub, village chip shop and a curry cottage with a cave! Chatsworth, Bakewell, Eyam and Grindleford are all nearby. The single/superking size beds are 6ft 3 inches long and very comfy. Bedrooms 1 and 3 have zip and link beds which means they can be singles or superkingsize. Bedroom 2 is a standard size double to sleep one person. There's 4 steps down into the outside terrace from the road and then the rest of the apartment is all on one floor. Although the style of the apartment is modern, its in an old building dating from about 1840. Guests have access to the whole apartment. Due to Covid-19, I am leaving a key in the key safe for guests to let themselves in. The apartment is in a brilliant village that has a pub called The Moon Inn which does great food and has a quiz night on a Sunday. The Toll Bar Chip Shop is the only Grade 2 listed chip shop in the country. There is also a shop in the village selling bread, milk etc. Only 1 mile walk to the historic plague village of Eyam. Plenty more wonderful walks too, such as Coombsdale. Easy transport links as the A623 passes through the village. There are buses to various destinations such as Buxton. Parking is on the road called The Bank. Guests are asked not to park in front of doors or gates. There is more parking on The Nook by the church, but take care as there is an unprotected drop into the brook! Note regarding CORONAVIRUS: In the interest of health & safety, can I ask that if you are feeling unwell or suspect that you might have come into contact with someone who has coronavirus, please cancel your booking. With regards to Covid-19 and the property, I will keep up to date and follow all Government and Airbnb advice and directives. We do all the cleaning ourselves. Sheets and towels are always clean and get washed on a hot setting. I will clean and then disinfect all 'high-touch' surfaces, following Airbnb cleaning protocol. It's advisable not to bring too many cars as parking is on the road and Stoney Middleton is a village and therefore parking spaces are limited. Please share cars where possible.
