A suite in our 'alter Gasthof'

Welcome in our house! Our former guesthouse from C18th listed as cultural heritage, situated in 'one' of the most beautiful area in 'Oberbayern' between lakes, rivers, sightseeing on the famous Romantic Road. Spacious rooms, for families and group of friends. We welcome you in our place! The house was a former guesthouse of the 18th century, listed as cultural heritage, situated in 'one' of the most beautiful areas in 'Oberbayern', in a charmous farmers' village. Located between the famous castles of Ludwig II (e.g. Neuschwanstein), the beautiful 'Lech' river and the well-known 'Ammersee' lake with all the attractions it offers for travellers (sailing, swimming, fishing,..), lots of sightseeings in Augsburg, Munich, the capital of Bavaria, and in the closest charming town, Landsberg-am-Lech. Wunderfull nature ideal for hiking or/and biking (Romantic route). With Thilo, we spent the last years to renovate the old 'guesthouse' in the most authentic way. The house is part of the cultural heritage of Bavaria and you are welcome to enjoy the spacious bedrooms (up to 7 persons) on the upper floor and/or extra bedroom with 'Himmelbett' on the ground floor, the well-equipped kitchen, the dinner room. You will be the only guests during your stay. Guests were in this house since the 18th century and we are glad to open the doors again! You have free access to the garden that was the former 'Biergarten'. You can simply park in front of the house. We live in the house (EG) and we are happy to help you with any questions or recommendations of things to do in the area. Our house is situated in a small charmous village (part of the 'Romantic route' of Oberbayern) with still active farmers, nearby the beautiful historitical town Landsberg am Lech, between the river 'Lech' and the well-known 'Ammersee' lake. It is close (ca. 40 min. drive) to cities as Augsburg and Munich, the Alps. The situation gives a lot of possibilities for hiking, biking, bathing and for sightseeing, in particular the famous castles of Ludwig II of Bavaria. Everything is available in the nearby charming town of Landsberg crossed by the river: shops, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, theather. Otherwise every morning a little delivery bakery truck can serve us with fresh bread and other groceries. It is easy to get to Stoffen! You have flights to Memmingen and Munich airports, from there we recommend a car, makes everything much easier (count about an hour drive). There are train station in Landsberg am Lech and in Kaufering and our direct neighbour is a taxi driver.
