Well Close Cottage

Well Close Cottage is a self contained, self-catering cottage set in the beautiful cotswold village of Oakridge Lynch, 6 miles from Stroud. The village has an excellent pub, The Butchers Arms and a well stocked local shop and Post Office. To fully take advantage of everything that the area has to offer we recommend having a car. There is, however, a limited bus service to Stroud from the village and numerous walks accessible from the cottage. The cottage offers a private location away from the stresses of modern life. It is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and as such offers scenic walks, villages and towns all within easy distance. The cottage is detached and guests have full access and use of the cottage and its' garden The cottage is situated within the boundary of our property. Our house is down a path and we are normally on hand to assist guests during their stay. Oakridge Lynch is a pretty, friendly, cotswold village. There's a pub serving excellent food and beer and a shop/post office open long hours offering all the daily necessities. It is recommended that guests have a car in order to fully take advantage of everything the area has to offer. However, there is a limited bus service from the village into Stroud where there is a mainline railway station and national bus services. Guests should note that the roads around are very narrow (single lanes with passing places). There is limited public transport and therefore guests are advised to have their own transport in order to fully take advantage of what the area has to offer..
