La Casina del Fornaio

Casina del Fornaio is located in the village of Castevecchio, one of the ten medieval castellas of the so-called “Svizzera Pesciatina”, where you can admire the Romanesque church of the village and maybe eat in the three restaurants-pizzeria in the area. Unique, reserved and ancient, the Casina is the ideal place to enjoy a stay in complete tranquility surrounded by nature, to enjoy an excellent view and to relax during the summer in the private swimming pool. It is a small house born from the restoration of a stable built in the late 1800s, of which it is still possible to appreciate the stone walls. It consists of the ground floor with kitchen, first floor with bedroom and bathroom. Garden equipped for outdoor dining and barbecue. We will be happy to make ourselves available to our guests for every need, socializing with them but at the same time respecting their privacy and their spaces. We are located in the heart of Tuscany, 30 minutes from Collodi (the town of Pinocchio) and about an hour from cities of art such as Florence, Lucca and Pisa. or from the sea of Versilia or from the snow-covered slopes of Abetone. In the surroundings it is possible to visit the so-called Dieci Castella, 10 medieval villages located on our hills and to be able to enjoy excellent food in the three restaurants around us. All the necessary services, including pharmacy and supermarkets, are located in Pescia, about 10 km from the house, which you will cross before arriving at the Casina. Private pool
