Camping Pod 5 on Loch Shore - Dalavich

Cosy camping pod on the shore of Loch Awe, with stunning mountain views. A total of 6 dog friendly pods are located adjacent to lochawe in the village of Dalavich. Pod 5 has 1 dbl and 1 sgl bed and a mattress for kids. The village has a shop, licensed cafe and pub (seasonal opening), boat & bike hire are available nearby. Bring everything you would as if you were camping except the tent, there are shared public toilet facilities with hot water and an outside tap for drinking water. The pod has 1 double, 1 single bed, 1 small single mattress, dining table and chairs, microwave, kettle, fridge with small ice box, lighting and heating. Each pod has a wooden decked area with table and chairs and bbq holder to place disposable barbacue on. The site has two public toilets with coin operated showers. Guests can fish with a permit from the shore in front of the Pods, use the communal fire pit and access the kids playground Guest are left on their own to enjoy their stay, if there are any issues we can be reached on (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The camping pods are located next to the tiny forestry village of Dalavich. In the village you will find a pub, licensed café, shop and post office (seasonal opening applies). There are miles and miles of forest walks and cycle paths. Loch Awe has many wee islands to explore including Innis Chonnel, the original seat of the clan Campbell. You can hire a boat and explore the ruins of their 14th century castle. If you like to fish, Loch Awe holds many records including pike. Permit fishing only. Buy permit from Loch Awe Improvement Association.. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The best way to get around Dalavich is on foot or by bike. guests must clean pod when leaving and remove all rubbish, all surfaces should be wiped down with antibacterial spray on exit. No boom boxes allowed, camp fires are allowed after 10pm and no loud noises after 10pm.
