Downstairs at the Miners Arms, proper Cornish room

The Miner's Arms has been lovingly converted into a proper cornish home for me, my husband Mike, our dog Millie and Ducks and Chickens. We have beautiful views of the countryside, and lovely walks nearby. We're in sleepy Rejerrah, surrounded by fields and countryside, but Newquay, Truro and Perranporth are all close by. We're very open and friendly and enjoy meeting new people. Breakfast is included in the price. The room has a lock on the door, tea and coffee making facilities in addition to a television (with radio). You are welcome to share our garden areas. The Miners Arms offers a peaceful night’s sleep, tranquil spa experience including use of a hot tub, sauna and steam room with a traditional, Cornish breakfast included. Leaving you rested, refreshed and ready to explore the many delights that Cornwall has to offer. We are open, friendly and look forward to welcoming you to The Miners Arms/our home/our proper Cornish home. Mike's garage is attached to the house, and there is usually someone around to help with any issues, if not we'll provide our mobile numbers. The Miners Arms is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Rejerrah, lovingly converted into a proper Cornish home for myself Joy, husband Mike, our dogs Millie and Sidney and our Ducks and Chickens. The Local Area The property is surrounded by picturesque countryside and stunning walks. Neighbouring, is the idyllic village of Cubert and Holywell Bay, well known for its appearance in the popular TV series Poldark. Also at Holywell there is Pitch and Putt. Within 4 miles is the town of Perranporth, boasting three miles of glorious beach and sand dunes. Here you will find the famous Watering Hole, where you can enjoy local bands and artists whilst admiring the sunset. If you would like to explore the rich, traditional Cornish mining history, a trip to St Agnes with its rugged coastline and walks is just 7 miles further. Or take a trip to the delightful city of Truro, home to Cornwall’s only/famous cathedral. A large range of high-street shops can also be found nearby. Approximately four miles from the property is the popular town of Newquay, attracting surfers to the famous Fistral beach. This town also hosts a large range of shops, cafés and restaurants, where you can further explore some of Europe’s finest coastline or observe the historic, working fishing harbour where you can get locally caught seafood. There are bus and rail services nearby to reach outlying areas, with Newquay airport approximately 7 miles from the property. Watergate Bay, home to the famous Board masters Festival is approximately 8 miles away. Padstow, St Ives, St Michaels Mount and Lands End are other popular locations which are also close by/easily accessible. We are also surrounded by local National Trust treasures. There is parking on-site, and lovely walks nearby (we're happy to share some of our favourites with you). There are buses into Newquay nearby, and taxi services available on request.
