Charming appartment in Flims Dorf

The village of Flims consists of two parts; the agricultural side is Flims-Dorf, with it’s barns, and charming old farmhouses, church bells ring from not too far away. Then there is Flims-Waldhaus, just over the bridge, which has it’s origions in it being a Kur-ord, which has the more up market shops and hotels, of which the most prestigious Hotel Waldhaus. The apartment offers a luxurious and cosy athmosphere, with a generous balcony facing south and east. The apartment is part of 3 chalets, and has use of an underground facility for car park, and shares a place to leave ski’s, there is a sauna for private use, and there is common use of a “ping-pong” room. The apartment, is situated just above the old village, Flims-Dorf, where no high-rise is allowed. Originally, Flims-Dorf was a Kurord, and has retaint all its facilities. The village and shops are 5 minutes on foot away. The apartment is suitable for 4 people. It consists of 1 double bedroom, a space in the attic for 2 adults, or more children. Also there is a pull-out double bed in the sitting room. The apartment is part of 3 chalets, and has use of an underground facility for car park, and shares a heated place to leave ski’s, there is a sauna for private use, and there is common use of a “ping-pong” room. You are welcome to use the laundry machine and the dryer in the basement. There is a separate room (heated) for your skis, snowboards and boots. Chalet Darblauna is situated on a south facing mountain plateau in the Swiss Alps, high above the crevice of the Rhine, it is at the foot of the mighty Flimserstein, in the charming village of Flims, which is walking distance of the widely connected ski area of Flims/Laax; Die Weisse Arena. The ski area Flims/Laaks, also known as ;Die Weisse Arena, is one of the largest connected ski areas in Europe, with 235 kilometers of pistes. Because of the location of the pistes, from 1.100m to 3.000m, is the Die Weisse Arena an exceptional snow reliable resort. Sometimes it is possible to ski from half October..! Snowboarders can eat their hearts out in the 4 Fun parks, the half-pipes, and the monster-pipes. Apart from that, Die Weisse Arena offers breathtaking freeride descends, and off-piste possibilities. The wide valley of Flims, as it is south facing, is very much suited to walking and Langlaufing. In Summer, there is much scope for active guests; mountain-biking, swimming, hiking, etc. Flims is easy accessable by car, plane, or train, For example; Car from Utrecht (The Neterlands) it is 850 km, via Basel and Zurich, and Chur, Then 15 minutes to Flims. Plane and Train; fly to Zurich, take train to Chur (1.15hrs) and take Postbus to Flims-Dorf (30 minutes) Plane and drive; from Zurich; 90 minutes to Flims
