Stunning Townhouse in Georgian style.
The house is in the centre of a small, pretty town close to excellent walking, hiking and cycling routes. Two rivers in town have easy access walks. There are lovely, family owned local shops, good restaurants, cafes and bars within a 2 min walk. During the rugby season there are high quality matches played within a short walk of the house. Off street parking. Three double rooms on a single floor or two doubles with sitting room. Central location very convenient for shops, cafes and eating out. Guests have their own floor in the house. There are no TVs in the guest rooms, but there is adequate WiFi to use a laptop for streaming. Guests have a private bedroom and access to their own bathroom on the guest floor. All rooms are large and spacious and furnishings are of high quality. Curtains and blinds are light stop. Rooms are warm and cosy with additional bedding available on request. We live on the premises and can deal with any enquiries. We’re happy to offer suggestions on what to do locally. Extremely safe little town of 2,000. Friendly and unusually for Wales, flat! Brecon Beacons, excellent beaches, hiking, river walks, local castles, National Botanic Gardens and butterfly house, Aberglasney House and gardens, Dinefwr House and grounds. Pen y Fan mountain and lakes such as Llyn y Fan Fach and Llyn Brianne. There is local birdwatching at the RSPB Rhandirmwyn and a local Red Kite feeding centre as well as fishing at Springwater Lakes. Walk, cycle, train, drive. There are trains daily to Shrewsbury and Swansea and buses to Carmarthen, but these are not frequent. We have our own off-street parking which has a small, secure warehouse. This can be used to store leisure equipment such as kayaks, climbing gear, dinghy, cycles etc. No pets (they’re cute, but I’m allergic) No smoking It’s a great town for rugby fans, walkers, bird watchers, cyclists and bikers. The town is flat, unusually for Wales! Many events are held in the town to entertain visitors and locals. See Llandovery Town (Hidden by Airbnb) page for details.
