Warm, comfortable house in private woodland location. 2 acres of garden to enjoy. Large off road parking area with wide double gate access, car essential to enjoy this stunning area. 2 Rooms are en suite, a further room is available for larger groups or families. All bedrooms have Double, twin or king beds and a TV. Should 2 guests require separate beds we try to give them a room each with shared bathroom. A sitting room with log fire is available for guests. The dining room is available to all guests to use as an office, to make complimentary tea and coffee and to help themselves to a supplied self catering complimentary continental breakfast . The garden is available to guests ,however children and dogs must be supervised at all times. We welcome you to Hillburn and will always be available by phone to help in any way possible, a family member will greet you on arrival to show you around the house . The Scottish Borders are renowned for spectacular scenery, coastline and of course the river Tweed. Hillburn is situated 2 miles from the historic harbour and fishing port of Eyemouth . With it’s safe sandy beach, friendly shops, wonderful ice cream, famous fish and chips, it’s a must for families,tourists and visitors. Berwick on Tweed with its main line station to London and Edinburgh is only 8 miles from Hillburn. A lovely old walled town on the famous river Tweed ,it has a wealth of shops, restaurants and coffee bars to suit all tastes. We are situated just off the main A1 near the village of Ayton. A car is essential as the nearest bus is a mile away and the station is 8 miles away . From the house there are many lovely walks around Ayton and it’s glorious Castle. The famous Northumberland and Berwickshire coastal path can be accessed at Eyemouth. Pets may share your room but not on beds or furniture.We have secure, very spacious off road parking. Suitable for vans, small trailers/ caravans. Ideally situated minutes from the A1 and a perfect stop over halfway between Edinburgh and Newcastle.
