Nature really is at our doorstep here; a choice of active and/or relaxing/educative holidays; hiking,cycling, fishing,walking, wildlife watching (European Brown Bear, Wolf, Wild Boar, Deer, Lynx, Buzzards, Owls, Wolf, ) sightseeing, herbal workshops according to individual/group interest. PRIVATE ROOM En Suite - 1 Double BED Spacious, airy, overlooking the village and the mountains of NP Risnjak, Kettle, Tea/Coffee facility available in the room. Terrace/Conservatory Free parking. Not suitable for wheelchairs. We are living in hosts occupying the ground floor and as such are available to offer tips and advice of local amenities, restaurants,pubs and points of interest throughout your stay if you so require. Picturesque and friendly village of Crni Lug is 720 m above sea level with an alpine climate. The village population is 250 approx, it has one shop,post office, restaurant Risnjak, National Park Head Office and information center. The village is surrounded by thriving forest wilderness,the highest peak of Risnjak Mount @ 1528m is approx 3.5 hour hike from the village with stunning views of Adriatic Coast on a clear day. There is an educational Leska Trail covering Flora and Fauna points as well as Adrenalin park for children.
