The cottage is only 2 miles from Much Wenlock and 5 miles from the world heritage site of Ironbridge where you'll find many museums as well as canoeing, rafting and fishing on the River Severn. There are a number of walks directly from the cottage through fields, woodland and streams with only the cacophony of wild birds and rustling trees to disturb the peace Beautiful and peaceful location. If you need anything, please just ask Much Wenlock is a special place. It is a beautiful old market town and is famous for the inspiration of the modern Olympic Games. In recognition of this, one of the mascots of the 2012 Olympic Games was named Wenlock. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with an abundance of walks from our town trails to our rural walks. We have the famous Ironbridge Gorge on our doorstep which has many fine museums ranging from our fine china museum to our real ' Victorian' town, Blists Hill. We are also very fortunate to have many National Trust properties close by with Attingham Hall and Sunnycroft to name just two. Parking for two cars. Public transport is approximately 1.5-2 miles away in Much Wenlock.
