Bagni Di Lucca is a popular town 20 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The appartment is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan town, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bike, motorcycle or car. There are buses and trains with onward links, we do suggest a car. This is a large comfortable one double apartment house in a beautiful Tuscan town. There is a sofa bed in the living room, this is a double not king size. The house has full facilities of kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath. The town and house is a typical Tuscan house with festivities throughout the year. There is wifi, dvd and television. The apartment has been completely renovated for holiday letting. you will be very happy here. The village is a typical Tuscan town with street parking outside the appartment. You will have unlimted access to the house with your own keys and garden access to the shared garden I will meet you with instructions then leave you to enjoy your stay. The Bagni di Lucca area has something to offer to its visitors. It’s a perfect spot where to see the authentic Italian lifestyle away from the crowds of the big cities. In Ponte a Serraglio, the first casino in Europe was built in 1837. After many years of closure, the casino was renovated and then reopened in 2009. The hamlet of Ponte a Serraglio is perhaps the most picturesque of the villages along the river: it also has a pedestrian bridge (“passerella” in Italian) across the Lima River to Villa Fiori. During your stay you can also visit the famous Terme baths in the town. At night there are many bars and restaurants to visit or take a short drive to Lucca and it's vibrant nightlife. For guest attending Villaggio Globale we are very close, a short walk from our door. We do suggest guests come by car or motorcycle but there is a great bus service that runs from very near the appartment to most areas of the region, there are also trains with connections to all of Italy. You are in Tuscany so bus services do not run all night but there is a great service and it is cheap. Just ask me if you want more details.
