Garden Cottage (Munden House)

Garden Cottage offers a roomy sitting room and kitchen with a bedroom upstairs and en suite shower room. Overlooking the garden it is both quiet and private. Wake up to birdsong! This is an ideal place to stay to explore Sherborne and the beautiful north Dorset country side. A delicious continental breakfast is provided in the cottage for guests to enjoy on the first morning of your stay. Garden Cottage is light and airy with french doors that lead out to the garden. Downstairs there is a lovely sitting room with Flat screen free-view TV and a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher & microwave. Upstairs there is a bedroom with king sized bed. A good night's sleep is essential, so beds have top quality mattresses, crisp Egyptian cotton linen, opulent feather duvets and pillows. Off the bedroom is a bathroom with a walk in shower and luxury toiletries. Wifi is provided free of charge. Guests have exclusive use of the Cottage and are totally independent. We are a five minute drive from the delightful town of Sherborne which has an ancient and beautiful Abbey and many excellent restaurant's cafes and pubs. Sainsbury's and Waitrose are available there along with many other excellent independent shops. Wonderful North Dorset countryside to explore with many picturesque villages, excellent walking and about a half an hour's drive to the coast. A car is essential and the only way to get around in Dorset. There is plenty of parking space right outside of Garden Cottage which is of course, free of charge.
