Sea Folly is a cosy and well equipped three bedroom cottage. It is very close to the sea and all facilities of this lovely Essex town. Ideal for both families and groups of adults and perfectly located for exploring Essex. Sea Folly is a very comfortable and nicely decorated three bedroom cottage. There are three bedrooms that can each sleep two (one twin room, one room with a small double bed and one room with a full sized double bed). Spacious dining room with table that seats 6 and comfortable cosy lounge with seating for 6. Pleasant and fully secure enclosed garden ideal for children and pets and lots of space for bikes etc. Guests have the whole house and garden. I do not live locally but am contactable by phone. The caretaker and cleaner both live in the same street and are on hand for any help needed. Sea Folly is just 5 mins walking distance from the beach, this is a fantastic location to enjoy a coastal holiday with friends and family. Decorated and furnished to a good standard, the property has a spacious garden, dining room and cosy living room. Brightlingsea is a lovely and quaint seaside town with a boating lake, beaches and a lively busy harbour with boat trips available throughout the summer. The beaches are great for children and it really is an excellent location for families. Clacton with its famous pier is just a few miles away. The countryside around Brightlingsea is stunning and the area is perfect for walking, running and cycling. The town has a number of good pubs, cafes and restaurants, and is known for its three excellent fish and chip shops. It is conveniently located to explore the coast of Essex or, further inland, the county town of Colchester, Britain’s oldest recorded town, with a castle, museums, art gallery, many Roman remains, a good shopping centre, Colchester Zoo and a rail link to London (40 minutes). Mersea Island is nearby, where visitors can sample the locally caught fish and oysters, as well as its sailing and beaches. Beach, boating lake, harbour, pubs and shops all within 5-10 mins walk. Everything is on your doorstep in this lovely small town. You are only 5-10 minutes away from all the town has to offer: beach, boating lake, harbour, pubs, restaurants, shops and many footpaths for lots of beautiful walks, runs or bike rides. Easy on road parking. No train station in Brightlingsea but easy access by taxi or bus from Colchester, Alresford and Wivenhoe stations. The house has WiFi and a Smart tv. The stairs are steep and narrow. The bathroom Is downstairs. Lots of books, DVDs, games and toys that guests are welcome to use.
