It is a self catered villa of 5 bedrooms, 3,5 bath and lots of space outside. It has nice views both to the sea and to the local lake! It is set in a quiet area where the only sounds you hear are the sounds of nature. It is only 5 minutes away from popular resorts, a 9km long sandy beach and the National Highway! Dream villa with sea and lake views, big pool, new tennis court, close to beaches and facilities This absolutely beautiful and comfortable villa for up to 12 people is located two minutes away Georgioupolis, in an area which is close to the Kournas lake as well as sandy beaches and two popular tourist resorts Kavros and Georgioupolis. It is a standalone fenced property and features all the amenities required for an ideal holiday in Crete! The main house is distributed in 2 levels while an additional separate space, a house actually, occupies the lowest level. There is private parking space within the property and lots of outdoor space. The main house consists of 3 bedrooms which can sleep 2 people each, one on the ground level (double bed) with its own bathroom and 2 other bedrooms upstairs (1 master and a twin bedroom) with a shared bathroom. The kitchen and living area occupy the ground floor along with a WC. Both levels have big balconies which offer the most incredible views, to both the sea and the lake. The separate apartment can be accessed from the pool level and provides 2 additional bedrooms, a bathroom and an extra kitchen and dining area! The outdoor space has been fully taken advantage of. There is a big private pool with sunbeds and outdoor furniture around it. The villa abounds in outdoor space with many options to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The tennis court was added in 2021 to maximise the guests' experience and offer them another reason to love this beautiful villa. The whole place can be accessed by guests. The tennis court is private and guests can use it free of charge We are always available for our guests before and during their stay. We provide all the required information as well as local recommendations. We live in nearby villages and personally welcome our guests to the villa anytime. The village, Kournas, is famous for its lake which is a very beautiful natural attraction where people can ride a pedalo and experience this magnificent landscape. There are a number of local restaurants with traditional cuisine around the lake which all serve delicious and reasonably priced food. The place is also ideal for picnic or walking. The closest sandy beach is only 3.5 km away and it is a 8km long beach full of beach bars, restaurants and water sports! The popular resorts of Georgioupoli and Kavros are within 5 minutes with a wide variety of choices shops, restaurants, bars and facilities. The National High Way can also be accessed within this time frame which is another convenient element of the house. The National Highway provides easy access to the whole island, bringing you closer to all major attractions and the cities of Crete. The city of Chania is approximately 35-40 km away while Rethimno is only within 23km. The closest airport is CHQ- Chania International airport "Ioannis Daskalogiannis" 50 minutes away. Having a car is the best way to get around and explore the island! Walking around the area is an activity that many people choose to do as it is very beautiful and not tiring. The tennis court was constructed in 2021 and this is why it cannot be seen in all of the pictures as they were taken before that. It is totally private and the equipment is included in the price. The house is fully furnished and equipped and we will provide you with everything you are going to need, such as bedsheets, towels and pool towels. The outdoor space provides a lot of seating and dining options as we know summer in Greece is mostly spent outside. During your stay you might see peacocks which live next door! This beautiful animals add an exotic essence to the location as they are very rare to see around Crete!
