Sunrise views

Lovely cottage -stunning fell views, has all mod cons with working wood/coal burner. Open seating at rear. Within easy reach of what Cumbria offer visitors for work/ leisure. Park free outside, wi-fi, tv, radio, DVD player, dishwasher Main lakes, Western lakes, harbours, seaside, country walks, no more than 25 mins drive. 5- 10 min drive to Cockermouth, 20 mins to Keswick and 3km drive to nearest harbour, Maryport. Come, rest here after a hard days visiting! Light and airy, cosy but modern too. Comfy beds, lovely and clean, has shower and a small bath too. Nice open views of landscape from the rear of the cottage and often with stunning sunrise views!..and sunset views from the front! Open fields at the rear. Lovely kitchen and dining area too. Parking right outside. Great to be within easy access of many Cumbrian hotspots yet return to get settled in this easy space to stay. ****** Please note****** Due to the legal requirement to close my business due to the latest lockdown in England, bookings cannot be taken for November and up to 2nd December (correct as of 3.11.20)..... I will update as and when....though bookings can be made for any dates after 2.12.20 and onwards (subject to complying with UK restrictions). Should you book for after 2.12.20 and then new rules are extended, please be assured, that you will receive a FULL refund! Semi rural village with bakery, Post Office & store, 3 pubs, hairdressers, church, florist, children's play area, vehicle repair garage, petrol station/convenience store. Take away deliveries available from nearby. Country walks in and around village to various local rural tracks. Ideal for being close to the visitor areas of the lake district and 5 miles from the sea, easily accessible by own transport, busses taxis. Use as a relaxing base to explore the Lake District and closer, Gem town of Cockermouth, (4 miles away), the Western lakes, such as Ennerdale and Loweswater or by the sea at Allonby and Silloth on Solway Coast, Maryport harbour, or, just stay and admire the views from the home (as usual, weather permitting). Walks around the village through footpaths and lanes, busses to and from places named above and various other towns every hour or so to then link with connections to rail and busses. Local taxi services. Nearest train station 2 miles away. Cycle tracks along the nearby coast. Nearest city is Carlisle (30 miles away). Breakfast/toiletries not included but can arrange for a small extra fee, just let me know. If you have travelled without something or need something, I will try to help with that too - there's always another way!
