The house is situated in the characteristic village of Partigliano (250 m.above sea level) just outside the ALPI Apuane Natural Reserve. Partigliano is located on a hill to the North West of Lucca in the heart of the "Media Valle del Serchio" region. There is a wonderful southern panoramic aspect, surrounded by beautiful wood of chesnut trees, vineyards and plantations of olive trees. Distances: -Approx. 800 m. away from the house there is the pulman bus stop en route for Lucca as well stocked grocery and bar. -Approx. 2 km. ahead lies the village of Valdottavo where may be found all services. Upon a short drive by car: the Garfagnana, one of the most beautiful areas of Italy, famous for the characteristic mountain villages, health seas, lakes and rivers. At -5 km: train station Diecimo, connecting Lucca to the Garfagnana. -18 kms. the city of Lucca. -33 kms. Pisa International Airport. -35 kms. the world famous Carrara marble quarries flanking the Alpi Apuane mountains. -40 kms. For big groups (>2 families/ 8> 15 friends): Casa Botori, another airbnb holiday home, is only 100 mt. away from Villa Armonia. If both houses are available, both can be rented jointly. Possibility of adding a third holiday house which is also nearby (4 persons, pictures available, Dutch owners). Altogether, and if all houses are available, I'm happy to arrange with my neighbors so that housing of bigger groups (>10 till, max. 15 persons) can be arranged.
