The most exciting cultural entertainment in Estonia, song festival, occurs every 5 years at aplace specially built for it. Tähtvere leisure park offers a wide range of leisure and sports pursuits. 25 min walk beside the river will get you there. Town Hall Square is 1 km away. Cafes, restaurants, lounges, nightlife. Nearby there are shopping centres, V spa, Aura water park, AHAA Science Center (biggest one in the Baltics, also internationally attractive visit centre that motivates both internal and foreign visitors to choose Southern-Estonia as their destination.) The bike share system consists of 750 bikes in 69 bike share stations across the city and the closest station to the apartment is Narva mnt 4, on the territory of university building complex. Tartu Coach Station is situated 1,3 km from the apartment. Catch the bus no 4 from “Vene” ( across the road), take two stops, exit at “Kaubamaja” and walk to the station. Most of the buses stop at the “Kaubamaja” bus stop, including the free ride to the biggest shopping center in Tartu “Lõunakeskus” (also the name of the bus in service). Tartu Airport is located just 10km from Tartu city centre. You can access the airport by car, taxi or using the “Airport Shuttle” bus service.
