Voted 9th coolest cottage in Britain by the Sunday Times in 2009, Cobweb Cottage is an ancient, thatched, tradiional Dorset cottage close to Durdle door and Lulworth Cove. Originally two workers cottages, Cobweb is tastefully decorated and furnished in keeping with its age, it features oak beams, exposed brickwork and an inglenook fireplace with bread oven. Enter via a side gate to a small pretty rear garden with lawn area, surrounded by mature shrubs, bushes and trees. Parking on street. Cobweb has been a happy holiday home for over 15 years, and played host to couples, families and small groups from around the globe. Beautifully located for all of Dorset's ' must see' attractions, and just a short drive to the stunning Jurassic coastline, Tyneham Ghost Village, Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam and numerous historice sites and houses. Come rain or shine, Cobweb Cottage is a dream base for a relaxing break or activity holiday. Children especially love the two staircases which mean you can meet in the middle anywhere in the house! The large inglenook fireplace with logs provided allows for cosy evenings following longs days walking or on the beach. Dogs welcome. Guests have the run of the entire house, so can feel very relaxed and private. The housekeeper is only a phone call/short drive away incase of emergencies Winfrith Newburgh is a pretty village with well stocked shop / post office, a friendly pub and beautiful church dating from the 11th century. Parking for one car outside of the cottage or others 1 min away infront of the church. Travel cot, high chair, beach towels and logs provided. An extensive DVD, video library and games cupboard will keep the children happy whilst parents are chilling. Bunks are wider than average, so comfortable for adults also. Dogs are very welcome, but please state how many you are bringing and never leave alone in the property.
