Quiet apartment with beautiful views in a lovely, well-connected village. Casa Veinte is located in a traditional-style modern building. The perfect base for sightseeing in historic Granada, trips to the beach, exploring the area by bike, or relaxing beside one of several pools! ** Currently only available for stays of 60 nights or more ** Sleeps 4-6. The two bedrooms have double beds. The lounge has a small-double sofa-bed. Duvets and pillows are all hypoallergenic. The apartment and balconies are West-facing, and therefore cool during the heat of the day but bathed in the late afternoon sun. A climate control air-conditioning system can cool or heat all rooms and ensure you’ll always be the perfect temperature. The fully equipped kitchen includes a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, and a modern electric dual oven/grill with 4 hobs. The bathroom includes a bath and shower. There are also 6 large colourful beach towels and several basic white bathroom towels at the apartment for your use. Full access to several pools within the small complex, one of which is on the roof of the building which the apartment is in. There is no charge for car parking in the spaces beside the building, and a secure garage space can be arranged for additional cost. Guests will be met upon arrival at the building or in the main street of the village, usually by a neighbour who manages the apartment and speaks English. Price also includes full cleaning of apartment & bedding/towels upon departure. No further interaction likely unless requested in advance. Situated on a hill in a valley, this beautiful whitewashed Spanish village is the perfect location from which to explore Andalucia. Vélez de Benaudalla is just twelve minutes drive from Spain’s Mediterranean coast, meaning tropical temperatures year-round, and an average of 320 days of sun per year. The village is also protected from high winds by the surrounding hills, but gets a nice cooling breeze in the hot summer months, and is half-an-hour from the ancient city of Granada, the gateway to the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains, and highest the peak in Spain - Mulhacen. Those wanting a relaxing time will love the sun, beaches, swimming pools and peace & tranquillity of Velez de Benaudalla and the region. If you’re looking for a more active break there’s excellent walking, climbing, mountaineering, horse riding, and cycling in the vicinity. Bikes can be hired from Cycle Sierra Nevada, which is also based in the village. You could also try water sports, diving, skiing, and snowboarding in the area. The sports-minded can enjoy the many local golf courses, watch the best European football, and catch a stage of La Vuelta cycle race which passes close to the village each year. Those with a passion for culture and history can head for world famous heritage sites, castles, palaces, and museums in the cities of Granada, Seville, Cordoba & Malaga. Traditional Spanish food, great drinks, and fun fiestas are never far away. You need a hire car to do this beautiful area of Andalucía justice. Free parking is available in the shade beside the entrance to the apartment block, opposite the gate to the main compound. There is also a parking space available in the secure garage below the apartment, at extra cost. There are regular buses from the Village to the historic city of Granada, local town Motril, and beach/costal villages including Salobrena. The nearest airport is Malaga Costa Del Sol/AGP (60 minutes drive). The nearest major train station is also in Malaga. Price includes a meet & greet service, plus full cleaning of apartment & bedding/towels upon departure.
