Ski Amade is a stones throw away for the most fantastic skiing experience. Winter Wonderland. The house has no lift and due to its location a car is recommended. Each room has a private bathroom, a small cooking area and a dining/lounge area. There is a separate shared guest dining room and TV lounge. Suzi & Vinny, live in the house, so are easily contactable for information and local knowledge, advice and problem solving. Our beautiful country house provides you with the perfect setting for your holiday. Whether you come in winter for skiing and snowboarding or summer for walking, riding, mountain-biking, golf or simply to enjoy the magnificent countryside and views, our house is the perfect place to stay to guarantee a wonderful holiday for the whole family. Our house is just outside the ski resort of Eben im Pongau (about 1.5 km) in the heart of the Sportwelt Amadé region, only 5 minutes drive from the World Cup resort of Flachau and excellently located for exploring the Ski Amade area. Imposing mountains surround the valley and the town has developed into a charming alternative to the bigger tourist resorts in the region. Being only 50km south of the city of Salzburg, we are in an excellent position to visit the many tourist attractions, sights and sports of the Salzburgerland region. The towns within the Ski Amade region are all close together and the furthest being Salzburg, 45 minutes drive. There are ski busses and inter town busses and a local rail line that goes through the bigger towns. Taxis are plentiful and many places are on walking and cycling routes, in the Summer. The house is warm and cosy. We supply bed lined and towels and can help with other things like hairdryers, irons and pre-arrival grocery shopping!
