Casa Eden is a large 18th century farmhouse boasting 7 double bedrooms and benefiting from breathtaking views over the surrounding villages and (URL HIDDEN) also has a large swimming pool, garden with barbecue and plenty of space to lie back and relax The property has 7 double bedrooms, ideal for larger groups wishing to holiday together although we'll happily accept bookings for a minimum of 8 people. Casa Eden is open all year round so if you prefer to come in the cooler months don't worry as the property has full central heating installed. From October to March we take pleasure in running gastronomic weeks for you and your friends to enjoy and take part in (minimum of 8 persons).We are also happy to offer you a gastronomic evening during your stay, whereby we take over the kitchen for the afternoon and then in the evening serve you a delicious home made meal, including wine and water.You would also be invited to see how some of the dishes are prepared.(This is also for a minimum of 8 people). Casa Eden is surrounded by the vineyards and olive groves typical of this region and is within easy reach of Florence,Pisa,Lucca and Arezzo which are all deserving of a visit as do little gems such as San Gimignano,Volterra,Certaldo plus many more after which you can return to the tranquility of your accommodation to an al fresco dinner whilst enjoying the wheeling flight of the swifts or the dancing of the fireflies when darkness falls. We live right next door so we are available to answer any queries you may have, but also respect your privacy; after all it's your holiday! Most of the time your stay will only be disturbed by the sounds of farms at work and nature going about its daily business, but just a short distance away you will find both Vinci village, with its ship shaped castle and also the birth house of Leonardo.There are also plenty of sign posted walks to enjoy.You will be within easy reach of the cities of Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Siena plus many others We are within easy reach of both Pisa and Florence airports with good signage.Ample parking is provided on site and we are just a short distance from Empoli station offering a frequent service to lots of places of interest. Heating: During the winter months the cost of gas for heating is calculated separately depending on consumption by doing a reading at the beginning and end of your stay. Tourist tax: The cost of the tourist tax is 1 Euro per person per day and is calculated for up to six days. Children under 14 years of age and people with disabilities are exempt.
