You will have sole access to all rooms. I love my guests and respect their privacy. The house stands at the very edge of the suburbs of the city Velenje. It is a quiet neighborhood in the foothills between three mountain ranges. Distances to: - shopping mall: 25 minutes by walking or 10 minutes by car; - tourist information center: 15 mins by walking or 5 mins by car; - doctor: 25 minutes by walking or 10 minutes by car; - castle: 20 mins by walking or 5 mins by car; - lake: 50 mins by walking or 12 mins by car. The site of our house offers good views on a mountain range, forests and cultivated farmland. There is a bike sharing system in the city of Velenje called "Bicy". You can rent bikes there and drop them off on other bike sharing points in the city or in the nearby town of Šoštanj. You can cycle along the abandoned railway line from Velenje to Paka pri Velenju, cycle along the three Velenje lakes towards Šoštanj, the spa town of Topolšica or see the quiet valley of Penk. We will let you know which routes to follow. You can also use a "bike bus" connecting Velenje and Lavamund in Austria. There you can cycle along the Drava bike path (along the Drava river in Austria and Slovenia) or the Mislinja bike path (on the abandoned railway corridor between Otiški Vrh and Gornji Dolič).
