The flat is within the Kinghorn conservation area, so quiet and peaceful, with picturesque houses and gardens. The Ship restaurant halfway down the street serves great food, and the beach is a five minute walk down the hill. The Fife coastal path is great for walking, there’s also Kinghorn ecology centre which is great for the whole family. Fife is your oyster if you drive, if you don’t drive, fear not, there is a bus stop halfway down the street which will take you into Kirkcaldy, and from there you can change for transport to St Andrews, you can also get to Dunfermline heading in the opposite direction. The Fife circle train stops at Kinghorn station (8 minutes walk away) and will take you direct into Edinburgh (45minutes) or up to Dundee if you’re headed north.
