Beautiful Cotswolds Barn

We offer self catering accommodation in our Barn Conversion. Located in the sort after village of Poulton, in the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has a beautiful 19th Century Church, a traditional Village Hall and is home to the popular gastro pub, The Falcon. The village also has a playground and many beautiful walks. Please note In line with the Government restrictions we can only offer bookings for two households or groups of six from 17 May to 19th July 2021. The entrance is through a central arch, which leads to a private courtyard, which is shared by the two barns. There is an open garage with parking available for two cars. Please note cars must not be left on the courtyard 1 The Granary has access only. Directly in front of you is the large tree lined garden. There is the 10FT trampoline for the active among you, with a sprinkler system set up to cool off on the hot summer days! There is a weber bbq available to use. A six person garden sofa/lounger set and a small table and two chairs. A pathway leads up to the front door with lawned areas to either side bounded by a hedge to one side and Cotswold stone walling to the other with trees spaced along making it private. On entering, the entrance hall leads into the fitted kitchen, stocked with all the essentials (tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper). This opens into the large sitting/dining room, with a stone fireplace with an inset wood burning stove to one end. There is a large table, perfect for big groups and entertaining that sits 10. In the sitting area there is a large Loaf L shaped sofa a large flat screen with Sony playstation for the (big) kids, with two controllers. Double glazed doors open out into a small courtyard, which for an additional charge can be set up with a 4-6 person Lazy Spa Hot tub. The staircase leads up to the first floor with a central landing. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room. There are two further double bedrooms and a family bathroom. All bedrooms have the beautiful original barn beams. Bedroom 1, has a Super King Double Bed and ensuite. Bedroom 2 has a Super King Double Bed, which can also be set up as a twin room, please let me know room config at booking. Bedroom 3 double bed Downstairs the large L shapped sofa converts to a double sofa bed. The house sleeps 8 I will be there to both meet guests and check them out post there stay. The village boasts The Falcon, booking essential as it is very popular. The Gillbertine café which serves amazing breakfasts and lunches. There are many walks to nearby villages also with excellent pubs/restaurants. A six mile drive to Cirencester (often referred to as the Capital of the Cotswolds) was the second largest town in Britain during Roman times.
