The gite is located in a small hamlet with main amenities located in Montendre, 10km away by car while you can also find a small "epicerie" in Fontaine d'Ozillac 4mn away by car. Chaunac is a quiet hamlet and the respect of our neighbours and surroundings are important. The Gîte is all on one level fully accessible to wheelchair users, with: -a comfortable living room -equipped kitchen with all necessities, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave... -Bedroom 1 : one double bed -Bedroom 2 : one double bed and one single -Sofa bed in the living room -Bathroom with walk in shower accessible to wheelchair users. -Private terrace with furniture and barbecue -Parking next to the gîte is free - direct acces from the parking area to the gîte - private terrasse with garden furniture and barbecue - heated and salted swimming pool from the beginning of April to end of September. The pool is fully fenced. - outdoor space with a pétanque area, badminton, trampoline, table tennis... We will be available for any enquiries. Close to historical sites and sandy beaches, the cities of Jonzac & Montendre are close. Each with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The beaches of Royan, St George Didonne and Angoulême, Cognac, Saintes, Pons, Meschers, Talmont, Royan and Bordeaux historic cities are all less than an hour away. How to Get Here By car: From Bordeaux to Angoulême, follow the A10 towards Paris, to exit 39B (Angoulême). Take the RN10 to exit Montlieu-La-Garde management Montendre. From Paris, take the A10 to Poitiers South to take the RN10 towards Angoulême, then exit Montlieu-La-Garde and management Montendre. Coming from the west, exit 37 of the A10 (Mirambeau) and follow the D730 Chaunac By train: Station Montendre 10 km. Atlantic TGV stop at Bordeaux or By plane: Airport Bordeaux-Merignac is located 55 km (45 minutes). On request folded cot bed, baby chair...
