Confortable double room with a desk to work at if required in a traditional house from the Champagne région which was the village dairy. We are the old dairy of Villers aux Bois. The house was built by a famous architect in 1892. We are located in a very beautiful rural location with a pretty church and a lovely château who was built in 1872. We are 15 minutes near Épernay who is the Capital of the Champagne region, 10 minutes from the famous Grand Cru village of Avize in the middle of the prestigious "Côte des Blancs" where you will find the best 100% Chardonnay Champagne. Garden and barbecue in summer. Private car parking available. For an extra 26 euros on arrival, we will be pleased to provide for you a chilled bottle of our Premier Cru Réserve Champagne in your room. Please note the guests are welcome from 5pm As a Champagne maker and producer, please don’t hésite to ask me for any informations that would make your trip easier. We do also tours and tastings in our own Champagne house in Avize with appointments that can easily be arranged for you The village is very quiet, no noise on the evening, perfect for walkers, joggers and cyclists. The renaissance chateau of Villers aux Bois is two minutes walk from our house Villers aux Bois is located on the side of the "Côte des Blancs", 15 minutes drive from Épernay, 10 minutes from Avize and 7 minutes from Vertus
