Cosy Chalet, with easy access to Coast & Exmoor
Nuttywood Chalet is located on the edge of the stunning Exmoor National Park situated in the charming village of Brayford. Within a short drive is The Poltimore Arms; an 18th century Pub with no mains electricity. It's a real must visit. The Black Venus, Challacombe, The Fox & Goose, Parracombe & Exmoor Forrest Inn, Simonsbath. Within a half hour drive is the award winning and glorious Woolacombe Bay! Putsborough Beach & Morthoe being an absolute joy for coastal walks. Our charming little chalet has all you need for a visit to this lovely part of the UK, small/medium dogs are welcome. There are several walking books & ordnance survey maps available. In the book case there are a selection of books, games & DVD's should you fancy a duvet day! We always supply the essentials, eggs, croissants, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, sugar, hot choc & a few little treats!! £10 per dog per stay, please leave the money in the honesty pot in the chalet. There is central heating, with underfloor heating in bathroom & a heated towel rail, plus lots off snuggly throws. Spa treatments are also available; Hot Stone/Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Eve Taylor London Facials , Aroma Foot Massage 45 mins £35.00 each Access is through a gateway with private parking next to the chalet. Both David & I live close by, so we are available to answer any questions you may have. The nearest small town is the quaint South Molton. With its numerous coffee shops & a large range of independent shops to have a wander around, it is easy to spend a morning here. Rachel's Bakery, Cafe, Take Away's is opening soon, in South Molton, will definitely be worth a visit!! For the real market town experience, you can visit the twice weekly undercover markets which attract people from far & wide. We have good walking routes available, nearest restaurants and a whole range of sporting activities information in the welcome booklet. Exmoor is an area of outstanding beauty, along with the magnificient coastline, light pollution is at a minimum up on the moor, so star gazing is possible on a clear night!
