Medieval townhouse with terraces

You enter the house on the kitchen level with small balcony. From there you have access to the upper double bedroom with extra sofabed + bathroom, as well as to the lower double bedroom with WC, shower + sink and a door to the terrace with barbecue. Cosy Casa Miriamar is situated in a row of medieval houses at the outskirts of Belmonte Piceno facing the surrounding fields, forests, meadows and olive groves; as well as the typical rolling hills of Le Marche and the Sibylline Mountains in the background. Due to the thick stone walls the house is cool in summer and warm in winter. There are also fans in every room. The bed and bathrooms have floorheating and the kitchen has a homely pellet stove in the open fireplace. The small medieval village of Belmonte has a supermarket, bakery, post office, pharmacy, bar and cash machine. Outside the village there is an organic farm with dairy and local products and an agriturismo with restaurant and pool. The guests of Casa Miriamar have the whole house incl. balcony and terrace with barbecue etc. all to themselves. We live in a neighbouring village. Before and during your stay I love to help with tips, infos, reservations etc. The neighbouring town Servigliano is well worth visiting. In the piazza you'll find cafés, ice cream parlours, pizzerias, shops + restaurants. The famous winery Dezi, which is at the junction between Belmonte and Servigliano, offers award winning wines. Of course there are plenty of excellent wineries in the region including organic and biodynamic ones. There are a lot of medieval towns and villages surrounding Belmonte which offer particular sites, museums and panoramas. You can sunbathe or walk on long sandy or stony beaches or go hiking in the nearby mountains. It's 20 minutes drive to the beach and 40 minutes to the Sibillini mountains. Parking is free in the whole village. There is a direct access by car to the front door for unloading the luggage and the shopping. Our guests may park just a few steps away beyond the terrace. People in Belmonte and LeMarche are very friendly and helpful.
