Historic Rural House in Catalonia

This is a 200 year-old historic house rehabilitated by a local architect in the center of medieval town Besalu (Girona), with peaceful garden where to disconnect from the world. County of Garrotxa, a remarkable region plenty of outdoor options. House is suitable for two families (max capacity is eight), with a private garden and a small natural pool (no chemical depurator). Walking distance from main facilities (supermarket, bakery, press, etc.). Situated in the inner center of old town. Restricted access to cars. Three-level house with private garden. Small natural pool (in the garden). House is fully equipped for self-catering and has washing machine too. Owners do not permanently live in the house and rental is made on whole-house basis. Welcoming is made by a neighbor, she is also available during the stay to fix problems (if any) with the house. This is a 2,200 inhabitants old village in deep Catalonia with roots in the 10th century. Neighbors are very exposed to visitors since Besalu is well-known in the travelers' guides as a must-do visit. Characters of local inhabitants is therefore very open and charming. Access to the inner center of Besalu is restricted to vehicles but possible to get in and out temporarily for loading and unloading. Car can be parked at 200 mts from the house at no cost.
