Le Voltaire B&B

Close to the center of the medieval village of Airvault, Le Voltaire has 5 large individually styled en-suite bedrooms in our 19th century maison bourgoise. There is a choice of double (150 cm) or twin rooms. Breakfast is included, served in one of the two dining rooms. There is a TV offering both French & English channels available in the Salon. We have a small garden to the rear and another one at the front of the house, both are for guests use. There is free unlimited WiFi throughout. We have renovated our 19th century home in a way that many original features remain but it provides the comfort of a modern home. All the bedrooms are individually styled and furnished with a lightness of touch. The beds have deep sprung mattresses and 100% cotton bedding, the fluffy towels provided are a bathsheet and hand towel. Our bathrooms have mains pressure hot & cold water and there is carefully selected the showergel and handwash for your use. Apart from your en-suite bedroom there is access to a sitting room with TV (English & French channels), a library, a dining room and garden/terrace area The village centre is about 500m from the front door, with all the shops you would expect to find in a French village, a high quality baker, supermarket (1km), banks with cashpoints, Post Office, Restaurants, Bars and there is a market on saturday mornings. There is Free Parking in front of the house, a large car park opposite. A bus stop with hourly busses to local towns with rail connections is also opposite.
