Holiday-house "POSTA ROSSA"

Our holidayhouse "POSTA ROSSA" is located in Camedo (Ticino, at 500m asl, at the border), only 5 min. by foot from the train station. Ideal home base for hiking, biking and river swimming as well as for cultural and culinaric trips to Locarno and Italy. You will be delighted with the house because of its big size, the big garden, the comfortable bedrooms an the big, modern kitchen. The house is suitable for couples, families (even 2) and big groups up to 8 persons, Pets are welcome as well. "POSTA ROSSA" is a big traditional house with all modern conveniences. On the first floor (street level) there is the local post office and the main entrance to the house as well as the parking lot. On this level you have a living room with a big sofa bed, the television and a closed fireplace. At the groundlevel you find the dining room with a big wooden table, a fire place and the access to the big garden with pergola. The big, open kitchen is equipped with all modern devices/kitchenware - coffee machine NESPRESSO included. Also at this level there is a separate, big room with a double bed, sofa corner, a fire place and modern bathroom and a direct access to the garden. On the second level there are two big beautiful bedrooms, each with a big bathroom, one with a sofa bed. they are connected by a hall for free use. The big attic level can be is used as well (mattresses available). l The entrence is on the right side of the house, next to the entrence of the post office (main entrance). The entire house and all the garden are at guests' disposal, there is nobody else living in the house. The post office - located in the house as well - has a separte entrence. All nessessary information and are given by Yvonne or Richard before your stay, including the informations about the keys. During your stay you can always contact Yvonne or Richard. The house stands by itself, there is only one neighbouring house with very kind neighbours. The "POSTA ROSSA" is a great point of departure for hiking in the valley of Centovalli or in the valley of Vigezzo (Italy) and the national park Val Grande (Italy). You can arrive by train from Locarno (35 min.) and from Domodossola (70 min.). The holiday house "POSTA ROSSA" is reachable in 5 min. by foot from the train station. By car you can reach the house within about 30 min, from Locarno and 50 min from Domodossola. There is a free car parking in front of the house. The house is well heated and suitable as well for skiing holidays (at Santa Maria Maggiore in Italy, reachable by car in 20 min).
