Large Century old Villa Dante in Tuscany

Villa Dante has been dated (by way of dating frescos) to the 1800's. It has been restored to its original beauty with the addition of modern amenities. It is our home in Italy and we love sharing it with others. Our village has friendly helpful people whom a few speak english and are always willing to help. Our pizzeria makes wonderful pizza and our small grocery can provide the essentials. The surrounding landscape is heavenly offering many walks. Do have a go at making your own pizza in our original pizza oven in the cantina! Enjoy the entire villa! 6 large bedrooms, two sitting rooms , dining and kitchen. enjoy meals al fresco on the patio area. The drive to Villa Dante is a 7 mile winding mountain road with switch backs. If you are prone to car sickness, please take your med when leaving the Lucca area. The drive is spectacular and well worth it! mountain top village with breathtaking views, friendly locals and lots of trekking. You will need to have a vehicle to reach Villa Dante. Car rentals at Pisa and Florence are easy. Villa dante has wi-fi, entertainment by way of apple tv, dvd player, iPhone dock for music, and cd player.
