Ancient rural house on three levels + basement consisting of two adjacent units + outbuilding which can be rented together, with a private garden all around the house and another private garden with a private 4x10 m swimming pool in the immediate vicinity (40 meters distance). Rural house surrounded by nature, almost isolated, near Bagni di Lucca, an ancient spa town in the province of Lucca. Idyllic place, away from the noise of the city, surrounded by the countryside. For a holiday of relaxation, walks and fun with family and friends! The house consists of two units, to be rented together only, with PRIVATE use of our pool. * Description of the first unit:* Self-catering semi-detached house on three floors plus a basement, 140 m2, 3 double bedrooms, 2 full baths with shower, kitchen, living room, dining room. Ground floor: living room with a fireplace, kitchen (equipped with fridge/freezer, four burner cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher) and balcony. 1st floor: 2 double bedrooms each with double beds (150 x 190 cm). Top floor: garret comprising a bedroom with double bed (160 x 190 cm) and a full bath with shower. Basement: full bath with shower and washing machine + dining room. * Description of the second unit:* Self-catering semi-detached house on three floors, 100 m2, 3 double bedrooms, 1 full bath with shower, 1 half bath, kitchen, living room. Ground floor: living room with fireplace, toilet room with washing machine and kitchen (with fridge/freezer, electric oven, microwave, four burner cooktop). 1st floor: 2 double bedrooms with double beds (160 x 190 cm). Top floor: garret with original low doors (160 cm high), comprising two perfectly habitable rooms, i.e. a bedroom with twin beds (each 85 x 190 cm) and a bathroom with shower. * Description of the third unit (outbuilding): * It is a small "tower house" on three levels connected by a steep wooden staircase. On the ground floor a single room with fireplace, kitchen and dining area and access to the rear private courtyard. On the first floor a bathroom with shower and a small living area. On the second and last floor a single room with a bedroom (double bed 160 x 190 cm). Outside our guests have access to a small courtyard at the back of the building equipped with a table and chairs. The three units that can be rented together, enjoy a private terrace next to the house equipped with table and chairs, a wood-burning oven for pizzas and roasted chicken, a charcoal barbecue, a private garden completely fenced all around the house and another private garden completely fenced in close proximity with private swimming pool (4x10 meters) at the esclusive disposal of our guests staying in this accommodation, sun loungers, umbrellas and magnificent views of the countryside. Our holiday home is located in the countryside and on the edge of a very small country village of just 50 inhabitants, crossed by a narrow road, accessible with small cars only (eg Fiat 500). Medium-large cars can be parked in the parking lot of the village, 250 m of paved road from our house. With small cars (eg Fiat 500) it is possible to get to the house. Otherwise, you can drive up to 50 meters from our holiday house to unload your luggage. For the transport of luggage / shopping bags you can use a small cart that will be at your disposal throughout your stay. When the owners are not on site, they can be reached by phone for any eventuality. The price refers to the rental of both adjacent units forming the house, the private garden all around the house and the private garden with private swimming pool in close proximity. Idyllic, almost isolated location with few neighbors. About 5 km from Bagni di Lucca. Closest family run grocery store is at 2 km from us. They sell fresh bread and delicious "schiacciata" (flat bread) every day. Chez our neighbor farmers you can occasionally purchase eggs and seasonal vegetables (such as tomatoes, salad...). Bagni di Lucca (at 5 km from us), is a nice tourist resort, beloved destination of poets and artists in the past, where you will find shops and sport centers (big public swimming pool, tennis courts, chemist, supermarkets, etc.) and a spa. The traces of this glorious past can be recognized in its monuments: the English Church, the Chain Bridge, the Baths, the villas, the casino (the first to be opened in Europe). The town provides some very good restaurants, where you can taste our traditional cuisine. Enjoy beautiful walks, bicycle or horse rides on the hills around our property, full of churches and Roman parishes. For our more adventurous guests we recommend the activities of: kayaking, canyoning, rafting, etc. in the nearby adventure park. Lucca (25 km, 40 min. journey), Pisa (50 km, one hour journey) and the nearby Tyrrhenian coast (the beaches of Versilia-Viareggio, 50 km, one hour journey) offer other possibilities to have fun! Nearest airports: Pisa (PSA; 50 km, one hour journey) or Florence (FLR; 85 km, one and a half hour journey). Nearest railway station: Fornoli (10 km, 15 min. journey). Daily bus service from our village to Bagni di Lucca. Car is generally recommended. It is advisable to reach us by car. The nearest (free) parking place is 250 meters away. It is possible to park a small car on our property and approach up to 50 meters for loading and unloading of luggage. The last stretch of road from Bagni di Lucca to our village (5 km only) is uphill and with some bends. Honk on bends.
