GOOD NEWS! Hawaii is open for travelers! Make sure you get a negative covid test within 72 hours of arrival and check all of the details on the Hawaii.gov website so you can have a safe an successful trip to Kaua’i. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION Here on Kauai's South Shore, the weather is gorgeous and generally sunnier than the rest of the island (it earns its nickname as "The Sunny South Shore"!). And, of course, sunny days give way to stunning sunsets. Bed & Bath One advantage of Hale Keleka is the privacy offered by the house and separate guest house. The guest house has a queen-size bed in the bedroom, a sitting area, and a kitchenette with a two-person dining table. In addition, the chairs in the sitting area fold down into comfy twin sized beds  In the main house, you'll find two king-size bedroom suites with their own bathrooms—including a deluxe master suite with an indulgent, deep soaking tub—and one bedroom with two twin beds and a shared bath down the hall.  A separate alcove in the main house has a double sized sleeper sofa. Activities Active travelers can start the day with a jog around Poipu Kai Resort's 70 tropically landscaped acres, followed by a dip in the community pool. Bring variety to your beach days, with several sandy stretches within a 5-minute drive or less. Shipwreck Beach features a cliff you can walk out onto for a lovely vantage point for rolling aqua waves. Great for photographs and spotting turtles along the shore, but rocks make it less appealing for swimming. Popular Poipu Beach is partly jetty-protected from rip tides and strong currents—great for kids, swimming and snorkeling! Nearby restaurants make it easy to grab lunch after your adventures, too. Spouting Horn is a natural wonder worth a visit on the South Shore—here, a natural lava tube collects the surf and releases an impressive spout of seawater that can shoot up to 50 feet in the air. Back at home, prep a fresh meal in the open kitchen, and dig into an al fresco meal on the patio. Or settle in around the dining table inside. If you prefer to let someone else do the cooking, fine dining at the Hyatt is just a -minute drive away. As an extra security measure, three exterior CCTV security cameras have been installed by the owner to monitor the property while vacant.
