This hidden gem is tucked away from the centre of the village with a beautiful garden running down to the river. River Cottage is a two double bedroom cottage ideal for four friends or a family of four wanting to escape in to the Dorset countryside. When you stay at River Cottage you have full use of the entire cottage. The snug lounge is ideal for cosying in, the sociable kitchen is perfect for lazy mealtimes overlooking the garden and river. There is a downstairs wc and a family bathroom upstairs with bath and shower. Both bedrooms are a good size but the master bedroom has beautiful views of the river and far reaching countryside. The garden is secure and offered with modern and comfortable table and chairs. You get the lot!! Enjoy... You are completely independent when staying with us, we will give you details regarding the key box but any problems just text us. Quiet, village life whilst tucked away off the beaten track. A beautiful quiet spot close to all sorts of amenities. Getting from A to B is easy. Parking is easy in the lane although one car is preferred. The bus stop is in walking distance from the cottage. Bikes and taxis can be hired locally and the walks are beautiful. Farm shops, pubs, river walks, buses and taxis are all easily accessible from the cottage. If you like village life you can easily walk to the pub, the farm shop, the park, the river. Further away we have the coast and it’s small villages and bigger towns or even trains to London from Poole or Salisbury.
