The Orchards at Shottenden enjoys the luxury of a rural small holding setting. Picturesque views at every angle and guests can enjoy walks through the orchard meadow and pick fruit and nuts if they wish. We are lucky enough to enjoy the sanctuary of the countryside yet only a short drive from famous landmarks, such as Canterbury Cathedral and Castles. There are wonderful zoos and animal parks for the whole family to enjoy. Farms shops and restaurants. Champneys spa at Eastwell manor only 10 minutes drive. Beautiful beaches 20 mins drive. Lots of walks with pubs en route. So much more to explore and enjoy for everyone! We welcome guests from age 2+. There is a shared lawned area in front of the lodges and the meadow orchard directly opposite can be enjoyed by a stroll along the winding pathway. Guests have one designated parking space in the drive, which is named after your accommodation Shottenden is a peaceful rural village which is surrounded by farmlands. Throughout the village there is local produce to buy and many friendly faces to point you in the right direction. We are situated in an area of ‘outstanding natural beauty’, where many walks for all abilities can be enjoyed.
