Come and stay with us in our newly constructed, self-contained two bedroom unit and discover the leafy Brisbane suburb of Chapel Hill. A perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quiet and explore the walking trails of the Brisbane Forest Park. If you want to visit our vibrant city, it is just 12km away by car. We are close to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Buses to the city are just 3 minutes’ walk. Our place would suit couples, small families and those of you in Brisbane for work. Our unit is an innovative space created under our home which is also newly constructed out of shipping containers. The unit is bright and airy and is lovely and cool during the summer months. You will have the whole place to yourself, there is no sharing of facilities. As the unit is under our house and below the level of the road it is secluded. All appliances in the unit are new and the kitchen is equipped with a good selection of equipment to assist with meal preparation. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry liquid and dish-washing powder all provided. A breakfast basket will also be provided on arrival. Right hand side of car port is available for guests parking. There is also street parking. As we live in a Cul de Sac the parking is close and safe. Chapel Hill is primarily a residential suburb, consisting of mostly detached housing and is a leafy affluent area backing on to the Mt Coot-tha reserve and walking tracks. Chapel Hill is currently undergoing a 'major suburban renovation', with many of the original houses (built in the 1970s to 1990s) being renovated and updated with a few being demolished to make way for newer houses. Many of the original houses are architecturally distinctive designs from the late 1960s/early 1970s. Despite it being a short commute to the Brisbane CBD, Chapel Hill is green suburb full of old eucalypts and native plants and is set on hilly bushland terrain that leads to Mount Coot-tha which is a protected reserve Buses to the city are 3 minutes walk away. There are 2 buses an hour to the city during peak times including express services for commuters. There are more buses to the city at Kenmore a short drive away. The closest train station is at Indooroopilly about 5 kms away for trains to the city and connections to services for north and south Queensland. Ride share services are also available in the area. There are fully constructed steps down to our unit from the road, so be mindful of this fact if you are not so stable on your feet
