Bemvindo a Casal Vale da Palha! We welcome you in our turismo rural Casal Vale da Palha - an old but newly renovated traditional portuguese farmhouse with three T1 apartments, located in a very quiet agricultural area, 45 min north of Lisbon. The farm is an ideal place to get distracted from daily commitments and stress and relax in our green and calm surroundings without compromising comfort. The farmhouse has three T1 apartments with a double bed and a comfortable couch that can be converted to a double bed. The farm includes 3 ha of agricultural land that is cultivated with fruit trees (pera rocha), pine trees, olives and eucalyptus. We have a growing community of mini-pigs, chicken and ducks. The house is within a few minutes drive of Peniche's world famous surfing beaches and a lot of cultural and natural highlights of Costa Prata area (Serra de Montejunto, Obidos etc.). You can enjoy our beautiful courtyard with open kitchen including a gas cooker, charcoal barbecue and a pizza oven. Attached is a saloon with tables for 12 people, a billiard table, games etc. Our saltwater pool is open year round (but it is not heated). We have a sun terrace and deck chairs. For surfers we provide space to clean and dry neoprene and surfboards. Free parking space is available for at least 5 cars. Attached to the main house is a small stable with our mini-pigs, our chickens and our goose. If you would like to see them closely just let us know. When the apartments are for rental some of us will be available in the main house.
