This spacious, open plan, modern home has a separate upstairs suite of two massive bedrooms with high vaulted ceilings, lounge with LED television, deck, bathroom and kitchenette stocked for you with breakfast items and many extras. Entry and exit is through the front door, which is used exclusively by guests. Both private bedrooms have one queen and one king single bed. Beds are all quite new and luxurious. The area can comfortably accommodate a group booking for up to 6 people.. A cafe & function centre is within walking distance. Additional areas of the house are shared with the owners and include a fully equipped kitchen, family room and barbecue area. The view is magical, gardens are fun to explore and the property has access to the lake edge. Kayak hire is right next door. Bikes and electric bikes are available for hire at the nearby Mobil station. Alternatively the location is perfect for relaxing, a luxury overnighter or a central point for exploring the greater region. Guests are welcome to enjoy our home and surrounds in its entirety. The front door becomes your exclusive entry and exit points as the owners use other areas, The spacious upstairs lounge, bedrooms and bathroom area are exclusively reserved for guests. The owners live in the main part of the house Grant & Diane are available if required This Karapiro lake edge property has a unique and very private aspect. We're only a minute's drive from State Highway 1 and easy to find. It's a great location for day trips to explore and enjoy the North Island's best tourist attractions, or a stunning place to relax and watch the world go by. There's safe walks, rowing, kayak hire and cycling in the immediate area. A cafe and events centre is next door. The beautiful Maungatautari mountain is a majestic presence close by. The views from every room have a wow factor and the private beaches, gardens and orchard are fun to explore. We're only 10 minutes drive to Cambridge, and 20 minutes to Hobbiton. Hamilton airport is 17 minutes away. We're 5 minutes drive to world class rowing amenities. Our location enjoys a central position for day travel to international attractions such as the Waitomo caves, Rotorua, Taupo and the Bay of Plenty. We're two hours from Auckland International Airport and on the shuttle route for door to door service. Allow 3/4 hour to Rotorua and 1.5 hours to Taupo. Many bus services will drop off or collect passengers from the nearby Mobil station. Pick up may be arranged. And lastly a one minute walk to a lakeside beach area, function center, cafe and kayak hire. A continental breakfast of fresh and/or preserved fruit, yogurt, cereal and toast is complementary. Use of the washing machine can be organized.
