Nestled in a leafy, central suburb of Glenwood, less than 15min from uShaka Marina, Durban Beaches, Moses Mabida Stadium, Kings Park Swimming Pool, Cricket Ground and the International Convention Centre. Shopping centres, restaurants, coffee shops and parks are close by. The KZN Durban University, Nelson Mandela Medical School and Durban University of Technology are in the near vicinity. We offer a spacious room, with en-suite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette for self catering. Whilst this self catering apartment is connected to the main house, it is completely private, with its own entrance, kitchenette and en-suite private bathroom equipped with a bath shower combination. A comfortable bed plus a work station / dining table and TV make for a relaxing stay The premises are safe and secure, with a free, on premises, single parking spot allocated for our guest's use. Free WiFi with good connection is included. Guests have access to the backyard veggie garden area with garden bench and table. As a retired grandfather of two Mike is able to assist you during your stay in Durban including an airport shuttle service should you require it as an added extra. Glenwood is a quiet, leafy, but vibrant neighbourhood, less than 2 kms away from coffee shops restaurants, bars and shopping centres It is also close to the University of KZN (Durban campus), the Durban University of Technology , the Nelson Mandela Medical School and the Albert Luthuli and King Edward Hospitals. The International Convention Centre, Beaches and the Harbour Waterfront are only a 10 minute drive away. It is an ideal neighbourhood for walking / jogging and has several public parks nearby, as well as an outdoor gym and public swimming pool within walking distance. There is a free and secure parking space inside our premises allocated for use by guests, should they have their own transport arranged. There is also a very efficient Uber service as well as other reliable taxi services to supplement the public transport system.
