Aagantuk Homestay is a boutique homestay nestled in a quiet neighbourhood close to the heart of the city. It’s a fully furnished three-bedroom house with a kitchen and a generous living room in our family house. It’s an ideal place to relax and enjoy the holiday time with friends and family. The house looks out at the iconic Bhujiyo Hill to the east and a garden and the cityscape to the west. Registration: This space is at the ground floor where we receive you and register you for check-in. The space is shared with Studio Dot an architectural design studio run by us. Kitchen: Our kitchen is vegetarian to respect our neighbours’ comfort and we expect you also to value our neighbours’ comfort. The kitchen is equipped with induction cooktop, cookware, refrigerator, RO filter for drinking water. Upon prior request we can help arrange for packaged/pre-processed food items so the kitchen is stocked as per your taste (this service will be chargeable as per actual and will be subject to availability.) Utility space: The utility space has an ironing table for which iron will be provided on request and a space to hand wash clothes. Living room: The living room is furnished to relax and enjoy a hearty conversation with friends and family. There a dining table in the living room that can accommodate up to 6 people. Rooms: All rooms are independent with attached bathroom. All rooms are ideal for double occupancy, for extra bed we provide a floor mattress upon prior request. The bathrooms have running hot water, towels and toiletries such as soap and shampoo. Closets with keys are provided in each room for the safekeeping of personal belongings. Need a space to sit back and catch up on some work on the go? Feel free to drop in at our design studio! At Aagantuk we love to give you a personal touch during your stay. We usually interact over breakfast with you and while registration. Being centrally located most basic needs while traveling such as pharmacy, clinics, provision stores, street food etc can be found in less than 1 Km radius. Proximity: • City Bus Station – 2.4 Km • Railway Station – 3.1 Km • Airport – 5.5 Km • Auto-rickshaw stand – 400mt (Landmark – Bhuj English School, Hospital Road) Nearby: • Petrol Pump – 1.0 Km (Nearest petrol pump is Gaurishankar Petrol Pump by Bharat Petroleum) • ATM – 350mt (Nearest ATM’s are ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank) • Kirana Dukan (Provision Store) – 400mt • Pharmacy – 400-500mt (Hospital Road has numerous pharmacies) • Hospital – 3Km radius has numerous hospitals and specialised hospitals. • Vegetable and Fruit Vendor – 400-500mt (Nr. Bhuj English School, Hospital Road) • Street food – 400-500mt (Nr. Bhuj English School, Hospital Road – 7:00am to 10:00pm) Our home is part of a family home and is on the second floor, which could be a hindrance for old age guests and guests who are differently-abled. Kachchh is known for its uncompromising summers and cold winter nights! To cope with this erratic weather do read up on the weather patterns of Kachchh for your safety and comfort. PS: we are in a dry region, moisturisers and lotions may help with dry skin.
