Kookaburra Place is a spacious self-contained garden apartment in leafy surrounds. Two bedrooms, lounge/dining, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, separate w/c. Your home away from home! Guest access is via separate entrance. We live upstairs so we're available for answering queries, but if it's absolute privacy you're after we offer a key lockbox. A short walk to the station with shops, cafe's and SAN Hospital nearby. 30 min to the City, 15 min to Macquarie Park, 10 min to Hornsby Westfield. You have exclusive access to the two bedroomed garden apartment with your own private entrance and patio. The 100sqm apartment is ground floor and has high ceilings, so is beautifully cool. Relax on the patio at the end of the day and enjoy the birdlife that visit the garden. Look out for our kookaburras! Gas BBQ and utensils are provided. Kookaburra Place is situated in lovely leafy surrounds, with a national park and bushwalks close by. Good overnight stop for the Great North Walk - we're near the intersection of GNW and BP scout camp tracks. Woolworths and Aldi (groceries) and Dan Murphy (liquor) are 5 minutes away for all your self-catering requirements. Shopping bags are provided, plus a shopping cart if you prefer to walk to the shops. Sydney Adventist Hospital (The SAN) (private) and Hornsby Hospital (public) are nearby, as are pharmacies and other medical facilities. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants in the local area, most offering delivery. Thornleigh train station and bus stop are within walking distance. Sydney CBD is a 30 min drive away. Hornsby Westfield is 10 minutes away and Macquarie Park is 15 minutes away. If you're wanting to explore greater Sydney, having your own car is recommended. Basic pantry items are provided: salt, pepper, herbs, oil, tea, coffee, sugar, milk. Clean linen & towels are provided weekly for long stays. Fold out single bed available for one additional guest.
