The Oaks is a Grand historic Victorian residence circa 1880 and still boasts many original features such as fireplaces in the bedrooms, lounge and dining room. With original wooden floors through-out it's beautiful decor provides a warm and inviting place to spend time and enjoy a slice of peacefulness in Sydney's suburbs with Public transport at the door easily accessible as are shops. A large room boasting large fully tiled bathroom overlooking park and playing fields with off street parking This historic house offers not only a glimpse into our pastoral past but is also a testament to Australia's ability to create lasting history. Guests will have access to the whole house with the exception of one bedroom which is occupied by the host. Though I do enjoy socializing with my guests, I am perfectly happy to give them the space and time to enjoy their time if they so wish. Plumpton Markets, which contains a supermarket, butcher, fast food and many specialist shops, is a brief walk away. We are also situated next to a large recreational reserve which offers playing fields, tennis courts and more. There is a bus stop directly outside the property and a train station within 10 minutes drive. We have ample on site parking. Please be aware that there is a host onsite.
