There are two queen bedrooms and one king single bunk bedroom all with luxurious French bed linen and individual wall heaters. The spacious bathroom features a large walk-in shower, Victorian claw bath, and antique chandelier together with Aesop amenities and Sheridan bath towels. The living area provides comfortable seating and lounge for six adults with TV, curated library, and wood burner fireplace to keep you cosy in winter, and Split Cycle Air conditioning for the warmer months. The well equipped kitchen houses an original wood stove (as well as an Electric oven and convection stove), antique wooden dining table and chairs. Outside you will find a second table and Webber (gas) BBQ. There is also additional outdoor occasional seating so you can enjoy the natural surrounds and country air. The Cottage can accomodate up to six guests and is ideal for couples or families looking for a quiet idyllic city escape. Our rates are room dependant not guest dependant. Upon booking The Cottage the farm and surrounds are a beautiful place to explore. Wander the gardens, gather or harvest including your fresh daily eggs. Please note however that Dunmore Farm is a small working farm so we do request that no locked gates or paddocks are entered without first asking. There may be some farm machinery, Dunmore Cottage is on a working farm with live stock and we also live on the property however guests can be assured of privacy, as well as peace and quiet during their stay. You have exclusive use of the cottage, surrounding cottage garden, and there is private secure parking with enough space to accommodate car trailers. The surrounding area is filled with popular cafes and restaurants to suit all tastebuds, craft breweries for the beer lovers, wineries, Gin distillery and many local larders to sample the best North East produce. A car is best. The property is 2.5 hours from Melbourne (via the Hume highway) and only a short 15min drive from Benalla town, that has all the extra services you may need during your stay.
